Their aim is make live theatre, whether from an audience or participant point of view, accessible to all.  Their main objectives are to give opportunity to the community, new writers and performers and to organise activities throughtout the year.

Once known as the Phoenix Theatre and Salford Playhouse, the theatre is in it's third incarnation. Whilst it was known as the Salford Playhouse it was home to the Salford Players, whose famous sons include Sir Ben Kingsley.
